This figurine was first issued in 1961 and was modelled by Arthur Gredington. It beautifully depicts Tabitha Twitchit, the cat mother from The Tale of Tom Kitten and The Tale of Samuel Whiskers, preparing to wash her troublesome kittens. The figure is shown wearing her classic striped dress and apron while holding a sponge and a bar of soap. The BP2a backstamp indicates this piece was produced during the period of approximately 1961–1972.”
